We are responsible for the impact our business has on the world. Due to this we are doing everything we can to leave an eco-positive footprint. APC's Environment Management System (EMS) not only ensures we meet legislative requirements and compliance, but gives us the ability to focus on “resource, waste and energy management” minimising our environmental footprint. Customers can be confident that our EMS gives us the structured framework to quantify, monitor and control the impact of our operations on the environment, now and in the future.

APC's Objectives

• Encourage employees to implement the best practices of responsible energy and paper usage at all worksites.

• Enhance operations and technologies to reduce waste and pollution responsibly and mitigate environmental, health and safety risks.

• Promote the responsible disposal of waste at all worksites and implement the principles of the waste management hierarchy to reduce waste through reuse, rework, and recycling whenever possible.

• Conduct periodic reviews of the organisation's compliance with all applicable environmental laws and regulations.

• Encourage employees to follow the guidelines provided during training on the proper use of safety and emergency equipment and procedures that aid in protecting the environment.

• Contribute to the conservation of natural resources by deploying pollution prevention strategies, which include prolonging the lifespan of equipment via preventive maintenance schedules, purchasing new equipment, and refurbishing used ones to minimise pollution.

• Engage with stakeholders on environmental matters.

• Actively encourage and support our suppliers in their adoption of sustainable practices.

• Improve the Environmental Management System (EMS) and environmental performance by regularly monitoring and measuring the progress towards sustainability goals.
